What is the level of food insecurity in a given country or region? - Cindy Holleman, Global Programme Manager of the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) explains the purpose of this tool which was developed to measure the level of food insecurity within regions at risk. As the IPC is based on international standards, it brings together many institutions to try to simplify the analysis procedure and capacitate them to react appropriately.
