The Famine Review Committee (FRC) is a quality assurance mechanism of the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) that reviews IPC partners’ analysis whenever there is a possible Famine Classification.
The FRC is a high-level technical and independent body that provides expert technical assessments of Famine analysis anywhere in the world. FRC members are globally recognized experts with strong technical expertise in the areas of food security, livelihoods, nutrition, and health.
The FRC seeks to expand its thematic, gender, geographic, linguistic, national, and other diversity in its membership.

The FRC is open to new membership at any time, this call for expression of interest does not have a closing date. However, for the first round of recruitment, please apply before 30 November 2024.
