The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) is proud to announce the launch of the Application Programming Interface (API). Via the API, partners can access IPC Acute Food Insecurity analyses data from the countries of implementation (currently over 30 countries but this will expand). Various formats are available, including detailed population tables and maps in two geographic data formats–GeoJSON and Vector Tiles. The API currently shares IPC Acute Food Insecurity Classification, with Chronic and Acute Malnutrition to be added in the future. The data include classification figures based upon the country units of analysis; administrative areas, urban areas, IDP camps, areas receiving Humanitarian Food Assistance, and more.
