IPC EVENTS

The IPC Food Security Working Group will work with the IPC Nutrition Working Group (IPC NWG) to capture cross-cutting lessons learned to prepare and develop a consolidated, articulated, and harmonized Integrated Food and Nutrition Security Phase Classification System that consists of the three IPC Classification scales (IPC Acute Food Insecurity, IPC Acute Malnutrition, and IPC Chronic Food Insecurity).

The first Harmonization Meeting will discuss topics identified as a high priority by the IPC Steering Committee and the IPC Chronic and IPC Nutrition Working Groups. While priority topics have been pre-identified, members of the FSWG and the NWG will be requested to provide feedback on them during meeting preparation time.
