Originally developed in Somalia in 2004, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) has been extensively applied and used in different countries and contexts. All along 10 years of implementation, the IPC is now regularly used in 29 countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia and the demand for IPC by country governments is constantly growing.
A panel including keynote representatives from countries (Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan, Nepal and Yemen) and Regions (SICA-Presanca) will retrace and discuss with the audience results and challenges of 10 years of use of IPC as well as where the IPC is heading at.
