Since the IPC inception in March 2013, three national IPC acute fod insecurity analyses have taken place  in Hait.  Hence, a great deal of attention has been drawn to the results achieved so far by key food security stakeholders, because the IPC analysis has shown to enable stakeholders make decisions about emergency interventions in the country.

As a result, Haiti was incoluded in the second implementation roundconduct the IPC chronic analyses for 2015. As initial steps, an IPC-Chronic Data Preparation and Re-Analysis Training was conducted in July 2015, enabling the participants to gather, prepare, re-analyze and organize data for the IPC-Chronic Analysis workshop that took place in October 2015.

To prepare for the this event, the CNSA in collaboration with FEWS NET and IPC GSU carried-out the IPC-Chronic Level 1 Training  from the 31st of August to 4th of September 2015.

22 TWG members participated in the 5 days’ workshop, reaching a consensus for classifying 13 out 14 units of analysis that was initially proposed. A quality review of this analysis was also conducted by IPC GSU. Dissemination of the results are still in progrees due to the Haiti's governament new elections.
