The IPC Global Partnership wishes to thank the Spanish Cooperation Agency (AECID) for the financial support granted to the IPC initiative in Latin America and Caribbean from March 2013 to December 2014.

This support has been crucial for the successful implementation of IPC activities in the Region. Specifically, during the fourth quarter of the last year, thanks to AECID’s funds, WFP provided key technical support to the IPC-Chronic Analysis conducted in El Salvador and to the IPC-Acute Analysis conducted in Guatemala, El Salvador and Western Honduras.

Furthermore, AECID funds were also used to cover part of the expenses occurred for the IPC Level 2 Training and Acute Analysis workshops held in Haiti. The IPC Global Partnership looks forward to further collaboration with AECID in promoting IPC at both global and regional level.
