In Uganda, the IPC-Chronic Analysis workshop was conducted from 2 to 6 February 2015, with the participation of Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and District Offices. Also representatives from FAO, FEWS NET, World Vision, Red Cross and WFP actively participated in the analysis of the chronic food insecurity in the country.

The analysis covered 9 regions out of 10 - Kampala region was not included - and was conducted using the IPC Information Support System (ISS). The new members of the Technical Working Group learned how to use the ISS tool, also with the remote support  of the IPC ISS Senior Adviser and his team.
