In 2014, IPC celebrated its 10th anniversary. IPC was developed in 2004 by FSANU, the former FAO-Food Security Analysis Unit in Somalia, to respond to decision makers’ strong call for consensual, rigorous and comparable food security analysis to enable effective response to the Somalia food crisis. As of today, 10 years after, the IPC is used in around 20 countries worldwide and demand for IPC is still growing.

Interview with Cindy Holleman, IPC Global Programme Manager, by the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development.
