Region & Country Work

The IPC Region & Country World Map provides a picture of the countries that have started to introduce or are producing IPC food security analysis and information.This categorization is voluntarily generic in order to provide an overview of the different types of awareness raising and training activities and stages of advancement.

*The Cadre Harmonisé in West Africa : The Cadre Harmonisé, the standardized framework for food security analysis developed in the Sahel with the support of CILSS (The InterState Committee against Drought in the Sahel) has recently been updated and upgraded using key elements from the IPC analytical approach. This revised framework was tested with real data and an updated Methodological Note for the Cadre Harmonisé (integrating IPC elements) has been recently nalized by the Regional technical working group and is now being implemented in an increasing number of countries in the Sahel
