IPC Special Partnership Meeting
Towards a common approach for Classifying Food Security in Developing Countries

The objective of the meeting was to consult with donors on supporting a common strategy to develop, implement and advocate a common standardized approach for classifying food security. The main outcome was the discussion of a proposal by seven agencies (FAO, WFP, CARE International, Oxfam GB, FEWSNET, and the Save the Children UK and Save the Children US) to support a common approach for further developing the IPC.
