RWANDA has been identified for the roll out of the IPC due to:
IPC activities are ongoing in Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, North Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
In the region, the IPC process is coordinated by the IPC Steering Committee of the Food Security and Nutrition Working Group (FSNWG) for East and central Africa
The FSNWG is a spontaneous and field-driven coordination ‘working group’ established in Nairobi in 2005, attended by staff from a wide group of organizations engaged in food security (NGOs, UN agencies, international humanitarian institutions, etc).

The FSNWG supports IPC development and field implementation in Central and Eastern Africa It aims at coordinating and achieving technical consensus amongst food security, nutrition and humanitarian practitioners.
